So we'd a great day out and about yesterday, and last night FINALLY got an earlier night... I woke up at 9.45 this morning (thank you Jesus) and there was silence... not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... bliss perfect bliss... and then they woke up and I got another intro to what it means to have a bloke heavy team... umm, fragrant... like Sarin. Hahaha!
Today we're having an interesting contrast of plans- prayer meeting for some of us, house group for others (and both for me), and a meeting with my sending church's pastor dude- totally cool opportunities to share ideas of what it means to be church and how it can look... followed by a pub crawl. Pray for us. ;) What's great about the latter (apart from what you might consider the obvious) is the chance to have conversations with a whole whack of people who wouldn't darken the doors of a church but are enjoying hanging out with this fun bunch of Christians. SWEET. Roll on illuminating conversations and learning on both sides :D (But still pray for us!)
Definitely praying for learning on both sides! And I pray that those who fear they might darken a church door soon realize what ethereal light they would bring by their sheer presence in our ever-growing Christian community!
