Final proof that God has a sense of humor??

...fielding questions from a 4 year old on Trinitarian doctrine!!

So there I was innocently putting my adorable niece Karis to bed and reading her bedtime story. She wanted the Jesus story which turned out to be an old book of my sister's on Palm Sunday- Gethsemane (yes, that really cheerful tale filled with lots of talk of Jesus dying...) so we finish that really cheerful story and Karis asks "why was Jesus telling people he had to die?" Oh boy. Start with an easy one- how to explain Jesus' sacrifice to a 4 year old?? Fielded that one, but since she knows God as father, the next logical step was to ask if there are 2 Gods? Oh dear. Here we go. How on earth do you explain THAT?! Ha!

I'm pretty sure there was a good share of popcorn consumed and laughter roaring in heaven at the cut of me trying to explain the mysteries of God in simple terms!
